Privacy Policy

Sitos is a food tracking app. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the Sitos website and iOS app.

What we collect

  • Account: email address and an encrypted password hash, managed by Supabase Auth.
  • Profile: name, weight, height, age, sex, timezone, allergies, and nutrition goals you choose to enter.
  • Food logs: the foods, quantities, meals, and timestamps you record, along with any recipes or households you create.
  • Weight history: weight entries you record over time.
  • Activity integrations (optional): if you connect Intervals.icu, we store an OAuth token and read your activity and wellness data to adjust nutrition goals. You can disconnect at any time.
  • Performance telemetry: aggregate, non-identifying web performance metrics (Vercel Speed Insights and Web Vitals). No ad tracking.

How we use it

We use your data to run the app for you: storing and displaying your logs, computing nutrition and activity totals, and sharing with members of a household you explicitly join. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who processes it

  • Supabase — database, authentication, storage (EU region).
  • Vercel — website hosting and performance telemetry.
  • Cloudflare — the MCP endpoint used by AI agents you authorize.
  • Intervals.icu — only if you connect it; activity data is fetched on your behalf.

We do not share your data with any other third parties.

Your rights

You can export all of your data from the Settings screen, and you can delete your account at any time. Deleting your account removes your profile, food logs, weight history, and integration tokens. Public foods you contributed remain in the verified database; you can request their removal by emailing us.

Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. Backups are retained for up to 30 days after deletion.

Children

Sitos is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If we update this policy in a way that materially changes how we handle your data, we will notify you by email and update the effective date above.
